Product Manager - MATE Design
Cariden has an opening on its product management team for someone who can translate the requirements of network engineers and planners into elegant, easy-to-use software tools. The position is ideal for
- A software product manager with significant network engineering experience, or
- A network engineer looking to have an impact beyond a single network, by helping create a product that is becoming the standard traffic management platform for service providers.
Responsibilities
- Work with field staff to negotiate and prioritize customer requirements and expectations for the product
- Work with other product managers to coordinate development with other Cariden products
- Work with the engineering team to assist in the design of the product
- Work with testing personnel to ensure quality
- Manage the implementation schedule
- Assist marketing and documentation staff, as required, to support the product
Requirements
- Experience in operation of service provider or large enterprise networks
- Experience with software development processes, preferably in a product management or related position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
