Senior Consulting Network Engineer
Software Engineers
We are looking for a self-starting entrepreneurial person to fill a full-time position ranging from Technical Marketing Engineer to Director-level, depending on skills. This is a broad-spectrum position best filled by a person with familiarity with ISP networking management technology, and previous successful marketing experience in a high-tech start-up environment. Ideal candidate has defined a market, developed the marketing message and connected with and sold to major customers in our market. The challenge here is to design, implement and execute a solid marketing infrastructure for a small, technically successful company and move the company into its next phase of growth. Basic requirements are:- previous successful high-tech start-up marketing - outstanding writing and communication skills - previous engineering experience (software and/or networking preferred) - understanding of IP networking technologies - previous major-account sales a plus Job responsibilities would include activities such as (in immediate priority): - develop promotional collateral and one-to-many marketing materials (our immediate need is for comprehensive sales support materials) - manage company web site content and flow - establish PR program and relationships - manage and promote network vendor relationships - assist with channel management (reseller contacts, discount schedules, etc.) - perform market research, competitive analyses - develop and deliver technically-oriented product presentations Location: Mountain View, California (post date 06/20/2008)
